In the Street Fighter ++ meta, Geki's uses are scarse. Suffers from mostly unfavorable match-ups, however, Geki can be an effective surprise against Sagat or Eagle, since a Geki isn't normally expected or thrown in. How Geki wins against Sagat or Eagle is by hitting once with a shuriken toss, then just hold back to teleport. Both Eagle and Sagat can not hit Geki if he never stops holding back. Keep holding back until all rounds go by. But, you must watch out for side-swaps, be attentive for changing the block direction. Geki also has a crouch stall that leaves him at an unhitable state for most characters. However, it isn't allowed in most formats, due to being uncompetitive, one-button stalling tactics. Geki's stage is at Lake Ashinoko (芦ノ湖), in Kanagawa Prefecture. The Hakone Shrine (箱根神社) is present in the background, with a dock entrance. Geki (on'yomi for 激) can mean violent or enraged. Ninjutsu (on'yomi for 忍術) can mean spying / sneaking techniques / skills / arts. Geki may have been Balrog's (Street Fighter II Claw Guy) master, or a member of its clan. Would've returned as a female ninja in Street Fighter: The Movie: The Game, but was scrapped.
